IT Operations Professional Sys Admin
Job description:
– Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers
– Install and upgrade computer components and software, and integrate automation processes
– Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
– Provide documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgrades and ongoing maintanance activites
– Insure regular backup operations
– In conjunction with Teva Global Infrastructure team, ensure infrastructure platform is maintained and meets uptime and availability SLAs
– Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
– Support internal and external audits
– Coordinate and monitor technical services delivery with stackholders and 3rd parties (Internal and External)
– Leading and participating in data archiving related design workshops, gathering and understanding the business requirements, translating/mapping those requirements to BT business process solutions, aligning and rationalizing disparate requirements, identifying/managing gaps and addressing resultant change impacts
– Designing, creating, testing & documenting the configuration of Data archiving modules/tools in support global business requirements
– Determining and communicating to the process and technical teams, the capabilities and limitations of the Data archiving solution set. Advocate recommended process design and technical design changes within the process teams.
Personal
requirements:
– 5 years proven experience in System Administration
– 5 years’ experience in network and database administration (advantage)
– System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are an advantage
– Knowledge of virtualization
– Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
– Experience with scripting and automation tools
– Ability to lead cross-organizential global process
– Experience in a GxP regulated company (Pharma company – strong advantage)
– Expertise in the periodic analysis and optimization of implemented archiving objects
– Prior experience addressing the retention management and disposition of archived content
